When it launches, the Ola electric motorcycle will compete with other brands like Oben, Revolt, Tork, and more.
Ola Electric is already India's top seller of electric two-wheelers. The company has always planned to expand into different types of vehicles, such as electric cars, motorcycles, and rickshaws. They've even shown four electric motorcycle concepts.
Ola Electric shared a teaser showing a few details of their new motorcycle, which might be officially listed on August 9. The headlight is an LED unit similar to the one in the S1 e-scooter range but with some differences. There's an LED strip at the top and two small vertical strips on either side of the two LED bulbs. These vertical strips could be used as turn signals.
The bike will have a conventional right-side-up telescopic fork. The 'tank' panels are at almost the same level as the headlight. The exact design of the Ola electric bike is still a mystery. Last year, Ola Electric showed some futuristic concepts, but the new bike seems to be closer to their more recent trademarked designs.
Previously, the company's CEO, Bhavish Aggarwal, revealed that the e-bike has a chain final drive. You can read more about that teaser by tapping HERE.
Many details about the Ola electric bike are still unknown. We'll bring you the latest news when it debuts on August 15. Stay tuned!
